Henki-Fennia Sells Medical Center Property in Helsinki to Corum-Managed Fund

Henki-Fennia Mutual Insurance Company has finalized the sale of a medical center property in Munkkivuori, Helsinki to a fund managed by the French real estate investment company Corum. The property, located at Raumantie 1a, houses Pihlajalinna Dextra Munkkivuori, which provides the private healthcare services in the Helsinki metropolitan area. These include pediatric, accident, and general practitioner emergency care. The site is situated next to the Munkkivuori Retail Center, which offers amenities such as two grocery stores.

The property was part of Henki-Fennia’s real estate investment portfolio, which is managed by S-Bank Real Estate. In collaboration with the tenant, the property underwent extensive renovations that improved the operational conditions for Pihlajalinna Dextra Munkkivuori.

Corum has an established presence in Finland, with previous acquisitions including Outotec’s (Metso) headquarters in Matinkylä, Skanska’s headquarters in Ruskeasuo, an office property utilized by Fellowmind in Pitäjänmäki, and several hotels.

The Raumantie 1a property is located on a leased plot owned by the City of Helsinki. The building has a rich history, having previously housed operations such as Merita Bank, now part of Nordea.
