Bird & Bird Moves to Signe Property in Helsinki

Law firm Bird & Bird has signed a lease agreement with Sponda, securing new office space in the upcoming Signe office building at Mannerheimintie 14 in Helsinki. After Bird & Bird lease construction of the Signe project is 80% leased and it is scheduled to complete at the end of 2026. 

Bird & Bird will occupy approximately 3,000 m² of office space in Signe. The anchor tenant of the building is consultancy and auditing firm PwC. Currently, 1,660 m² of office space remains available, alongside 4,400 m² of retail space.

The law firm will be relocating from its current offices at Mannerheimintie 8, which is owned by the Helsinki Orthodox Parish. According to the Orthodox Parish’s web-magazine (www.aamunkoitto.fi), approximately 20 million euros investments will be necessary for the future development of the Mannerheimintie 8 property. According to the magazine, the Orthodox Parish has been funding the maintenance of its investment properties using revenue generated from Mannerheimintie 8.
