Norwegian real estate investor Ragde Eiendom AS has sold three retail properties formerly operated by the Plantagen chain in Finland. Newsec acted as advisor in the transaction. The properties are located in Espoo (Suomenoja), Porvoo (Kuninkaanportti), and Vaasa (Kivihaka), with a total combined lettable area of approximately 13,500 square meters. The Plantagen locations were originally opened in 2008.

The buyer and transaction price have not been disclosed.

The sale follows the bankruptcy of Norway-based garden retail chain Plantagen in autumn 2024.

In a separate transaction in December 2024, Newsec also advised on the sale of another former Plantagen property in Vantaa. That property, previously owned by W.P. Carey, was sold to Develo Toimitilat Oy.
