NCC has sold the Cleantech Garden school and office complex in Espoo to Finnish wellbeing real estate company Suohki for approximately €80 million. The property has 13,750 square meters of leasable space and will serve as a hub for education, research, and clean technology innovation.

The largest tenant of Cleantech Garden will be the City of Espoo, which will occupy over 10,000 square meters for a new high school accommodating more than 1,000 students. Another major tenant is the Technology Research Center VTT Oy, further strengthening the campus’s research and innovation capabilities.

The deal follows a forward funding model, meaning the purchase price will be paid in stages as the project progresses. Suohki, owned by Nordic private equity investor Infranode, is responsible for the entire financing of the project. Completion of the project is expected in the second quarter of 2027.
