YIT has started construction on Asunto Oy Espoon Seaside, a 15-storey residential building in Keilaniemi, Espoo. The project, valued at EUR 50 million, includes 83 modern homes ranging from 48 to 118.5 square metres, with many offering unobstructed sea views. Residents will have access to shared workspaces, a lounge, and sauna facilities with terraces overlooking the water. A children’s playground, green roof waste room, and a shared water sports storage will also be part of the development.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the building features underfloor heating and cooling, air source heat pump readiness, and apartment-specific water monitoring. Construction will use 100% renewable electricity, and at least 75% of waste will be recycled.
Located in the rapidly developing Keilaniemi district, the project benefits from excellent transport connections, with the metro just minutes away and the Jokeri Light Rail terminus 300 metres from the site. Future plans for the area include a sea swimming pool, waterfront saunas, and an archipelago boat stop.
“This highly anticipated project has already generated significant interest in the pre-marketing phase,” says Harri Isoviita, SVP at YIT. Completion is expected by the end of 2026.
