Lumme Palvelukiinteistöt and Mehiläinen have entered into a long-term agreement for the development of four modern care facilities tailored for Mehiläinen’s use. Construction is expected to begin this spring, with all four properties scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026.
The properties are being designed through close cooperation between Lumme, Mehiläinen, contractors, and regional wellbeing services.
All four projects are being developed to meet strict sustainability criteria. The goal is to achieve LEED Gold certification, underscoring the shared commitment to environmental responsibility. In addition, the buildings will meet the EU Taxonomy’s energy efficiency standards, be equipped with solar panels, and utilize renewable energy sources throughout.
Lumme Palvelukiinteistöt is backed by a fund managed by Alma Property Partners. Lumme Palvelukiinteistöt is pursuing a goal to build a real estate portfolio exceeding €100 million, consisting of high-quality care and assisted living properties in central locations across Finland.
